Putting together Robb Report‘s October cover story was one of my favorite projects this year. I scowered the globe from my computer in Malibu to find 20 of the biggest and best resort accommodations in the world. Then I reached out to my favorite group of jet-setting writers to gather firsthand feedback about what it is like to stay in these places, and made assignments accordingly. My own travels to Fiji’s Laucala Island, St. Barts’ Eden Rock resort, California’s Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, and France’s Hotel de Charme Les Airelles allowed me to do some of the writing myself.
